MORGAN WOOTTEN DOCUMENTARY Coach Morgan Wootten was one of the most successful coaches in high school basketball. From 1956 to 2002, Wootten led DeMatha H.S. to 5 national championships, compiling over 1,274 wins in his Hall of Fame career. In 1965, his Dematha team beat Lew Alcindor's Power Memorial Academy which ended their 71-game winning streak. Wootten's coaching legacy is about more than just the game of basketball; he instilled in his players a set of priorities: God, then family, then school and finally, basketball.
