Bill Hayes is the President and founder of Advanced Medical Productions, Inc and Figure 8 Films. He has produced over 300 nonfiction television programs and documentaries that have aired all over the world. His company’s programs have won numerous awards and continue reach millions of viewers through various networks.

Bill grew up on a farm in the mountains of North Carolina, went to Duke University and began dreaming of making documentaries.

    "I wanted to continue to learn throughout my life and teach others as well, travel the world, and make a decent living. Producing documentaries seemed like the ideal way to do all of this."

After working as a video salesman, bartender, farmer, productivity consultant, Assistant Press Secretary for a US Senate candidate, Marketing Director of a computer hardware company and VP of Sales and Marketing for a computer software company he finally produced a video for a shopping center. That was over 20 years ago.

Since then, Bill has produced interactive videos, launched a Video Journal of Arthroscopy, created four successful television series, produced numerous educational videos and DVDs, run a street festival and served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Carolina School of Mass Communications and Journalism. He continues to create new shows for a variety of networks.
