Shannon came to Figure 8 Films as an intern during her junior year at UNC Chapel Hill, where she quickly ascended to the title of Best Intern Ever in the History of the Company. Or at least the most persistent, as upon her graduation in 2008, she joined the team full time. With her BA in Communication Studies/Psychology, as well as her time spent with UNC Student Television and the Carolina Production Guild, Shannon was ready to take on the world of TV. Or at least take on the world of dubbing tapes, assisting coordinators with planning shoots, and turning stacks of crew receipts into organized expense reports. According to her 10 year plan, Shannon is well on her way to Executive Producer status. Or at least 3.47% on her way.

When not at work, Shannon enjoys reading obscure Russian literature, drinking Coke, horseback riding, watching Shia LaBeouf movies, working on paint-by-numbers, and spending time with her dog Jonesy.
