The sextuplets are finally over their “terrible twos,” so a celebration is in order! The Gosselins hold a Carnival-themed birthday party in their yard, complete with games, funnel cake, and pony rides. Miraculously, everything has gone according to plan- until a washing machine disaster threatens to drown the fun.

A mother of 8 deserves extra-special treatment on Mother’s Day, so Jon and the kids uphold their yearly tradition of cooking Kate breakfast in bed. While Kate sleeps late, can Jon wrangle the kids all by himself and make delicious French toast? Then Kate gets the ultimate Mother’s Day treat, a trip to the spa with a girlfriend.
“Gosselins Go Dutch”- Premiered October 22, 2007 on TLC
With all eight kids in tow, Jon and Kate visit the local children’s theme park Dutch Wonderland. The sextuplets experience the thrills of their first trip to an amusement park, but quickly learn that some rides aren’t for everyone. Between the heat, toddler meltdowns, and one twin that refuses to have a good time, at one point the odds of salvaging the outing seem minimal. But all in all, this is a successful day of family fun - no small feat!
“Sextuplets’ First Dentist Visit”- Premiered October 29, 2007 on TLC
Even adults don't like going to the dentist, so major drama is expected when all of the Gosselin kids spend the afternoon getting their teeth examined. The sextuplets pair up for their first-ever trips to the dentists’ chair and seem to handle it even better than their older sisters did. But when one of the kids starts wailing, will a chain reaction be inevitable?

July 4th is the Gosselins' favorite summer holiday and is filled with family tradition. With a jam-packed day of parades, picnic lunches, time by the pool and a cookout, this year’s celebration promises to be the Gosselins’ best yet…that is, until the weather decides not to cooperate and puts a chilly damper on the activities.

When Jon has to work on a Saturday, Kate faces another day at home with the kids without him. Itching to get out of the house, Kate plans their first family outing without Jon- but brings Carla, the tireless babysitter, in his place. A day at Hersey’s Chocolate World should be a blast for the kids, but can Kate control them (and their sugar intake) without Jon?

We know the Gosselins like to buy things in bulk, so it makes sense that when they want to buy beef, they go buy half a cow! And to show the kids exactly where their food comes from, Jon and Kate take them to Natural Acres, a nearby organic farm, for a field trip like no other.

Two of Discovery Health’s most entertaining women are teaming up! Courageous mother of twins and sextuplets, Kate Gosselin of “Jon & Kate plus 8”, is getting the chance to meet one of her idols, green living expert Sara Snow, who is the host of Discovery Health’s “Get Fresh with Sara Snow”. Kate realizes the importance of cooking and eating organically, and is constantly looking for new ways to do this in an economical way. A family of 10 can leave a lot of footprints, but with Sara Snow’s help, the Gosselin family will be able to limit their energy consumption, reduce their waste, eat better, and live healthier!
“Babies and Bedrooms, Part 1”- Premiered November 19, 2007 on TLC
Once again, the Gosselins have outgrown their house, so it's time to renovate! They convert their attic into a new bedroom for the twins and prepare to separate the girls from the boys. Jon and Kate have to shop for six big beds since the sextuplets have outgrown their cribs. Will Kate be able to make a decision before the kids jump on every bed in the store?
"Babies and Bedrooms, Part 2"- Premiered December 3, 2007 on TLC
Jon puts the finishing touches on the kids' new rooms with an extra coat of pink paint for the twins' room and the construction on the sextuplets' new big beds. The sextuplets separate and sleep in their big beds for the first time. How will they do being separated for the first time, and how will they adjust to their new accommodations?
Hour-long Special, “Jon & Kate Plus 8 Hit the Road"- Premiered December 10, 2007 on TLC
8 kids, 7 states, and 15 hours in one car...it's a road trip like no other road trip! This summer, all 10 Gosselins will pile into their gigantic blue bus and head south, to where else...Disneyworld! It's a dream come true for the kids, who will get to meet some of their favorite Disney characters in person, visit Cinderella's castle, eat lunch with Winnie the Pooh, and perhaps most exciting of all, they'll have Mom and Dad to themselves for a whole week. And although it might be an exhausting trip for Jon & Kate, with 8 kids all under the age of 6, exhaustion is something they're used to!
